Change of Court Surface
Anything can happen in a tennis game and so that’s why special rules for such game were created. These rules cover a lot of events that may happen including change of court surface.
Well, a tennis game or parts of a tennis game may take place on a court surface that is actually different than the court surface that is scheduled. This is possible, however there are rules regarding this, that should be followed no matter what it takes.
First and foremost, for bets that are related to individual games, in case one ball is played on the court surface that is scheduled, according to the rules, all of them should stand. In case the entire game is played on another court surface, not on the court surface that is scheduled, all bets must be deemed as void.
Then, for bets related to tournament type of games, in case one ball is played on the court surface that is scheduled, all of them should stand. In case the entire game is played on another court surface, not on the court surface that is scheduled, all of the bets must be considered as void.
And lastly, for tournament H2Hs, both players of the respective bet must play at least one ball on the court surface that is scheduled so for the bets to stand.
Anything can really happen in a tennis game, even actually change of court surface. Thus, it is really significant that some rules involving this, were indeed created. But of course, the challenge that this may bring never stops in creation of some special rules. Still, there can be chaos or irregularities and so tennis players themselves should do their part and that is to follow the said rules. Nonetheless, they should adhere to such rules no matter what.
