Settling the Bets Including Overtime
In a basketball event, it is very possible to have more or additional playing time through overtime and it is because there is need to actually break a tie. Both playing teams got the same score at the end of the 4th quarter.
In case of overtime, bets of the bettors or punters can be affected. But if not otherwise stated, they shall be settled on the result including overtime. This also applies to bets that are for the second half.
In a basketball event, there is the first half and the second half. It is well-known to everyone that the first half is consists of the 1st quarter and the 2nd quarter and the second half is consists of the 3rd quarter and the 4th quarter.
Most likely, overtimes count for bets referring to the second half unless otherwise stated for an instance should consider half time or full time. Then they count as well for bets referring to the 4rt quarter unless also otherwise stated for an instance should consider highest scoring quarter.
