Five Card Draw Game Rules
The most distinct among all the game rules are the game rules for Five Card Draw. They are unusual without actually requiring community cards or requiring players to have their cards shown, not until showdown. They make it possible to only have limited information available to players, only having information about how betting goes and how many cards are being drawn. But they also make everything so exciting for players as they can eventually discard some or all of their cards if they want to and then receive a corresponding amount of new cards in return. Truly, they are the most distinct among all the game rules.
Game rules for Five Card Draw go as follows:
As usual, a starting pot must be created to start the game. Blinds must be posted. Nonetheless, they must be posted by the first two players to the left of the dealer. First one should post a small blind and the next one should post a big blind. Then the game is started and five cards must be dealt to each player facing down.
After the five cards are dealt to each player facing down, first betting round must take place. It will pave the way to the draw itself.
When the first betting round is actually done, draw must take place. It must start with the player to the left of the dealer. Each player then who remains in the hand has the chance or the right to draw one to five new cards or else to stand pot or not draw. After which, second betting round must take place.
When the second betting round is actually done, and more than one player remains in the hand, showdown must take place.
Nevertheless, player with the best five card high hand wins the pot.
