First Foul and Division Champions
Naturally, there are also some rules regarding first foul and Division Champions. Like the rules we have discussed in our previous articles, the said rules are also for all basketball and betting enthusiasts to know and most especially, to observe.
The rules being referred to specifically deal with first foul and division champions. These are some of the most productive in terms of producing issues and so must be settled by some rules.
Well, with first foul in the game, half time, or quarter, the bets at hand should be considered regardless of type. Such bets should refer to all types of fouls including technical fouls and even personal fouls.
The rule regarding the first foul in the game, half time, or quarter should be applied in all games unless otherwise stated.
Then, there is also what many call as first foul out. With this, bets should be settled on the first player that is “fouled out” because of having 6 fouls in American Basketball or 5 fouls in Non-American Basketball. Fouls and ejections that are technical by nature should not count for such bets.
While, with regards to Division Champions, in case the season is shortened, regardless of the reason, the bets should be settled based on the Division Champion proclaimed by the respective governing authority.
And similarly, in case a moneyline, total or handicap bet ended in a draw and there are no odds offered for such option, all of the bets at hand should be considered as void.
The rules that were just discussed and previous rules that were tackled in past articles are equally important. They are rules that someone like you who is most likely into basketball, either by playing or betting, should actually be well familiar of and this is something that is just so true.
